As part of a comprehensive renovation project, we converted former offices at the Lich Clinic into modern patient rooms. The client initiated this project in order to create additional capacity for patient care.

    Scope of the work

The conversion began with extensive demolition work: The floors, existing bathrooms, supply rails and the entire inventory were removed. New drywall installation walls with integrated supply rails were then installed.

The technical infrastructure was completely renewed with new electrical installations including nurse call and fire alarms. New wall and floor tiles were laid in the bathrooms and modern sanitaryware was installed. For a high-quality finish, the rooms were given new floor coverings with skirting boards, fresh paint on all wall and ceiling surfaces and newly painted built-in cupboards and door frames. Professional ram protection was also installed.

    Special challenges

The technical complexity of integrating the existing sanitary pipes required particular care and expertise. Added to this was the tight time frame, which required precise planning and efficient coordination of all trades. In addition, the work had to be carried out during ongoing hospital operations, which required particularly foresighted organization.

    The result

Following completion of the work, the former offices are now modern patient rooms. The multifunctional pre-wall installation with integrated supply rail in particular underlines the successful implementation of the modernization desired by the client.
